Prof. Kiron Bansal, PhD is an award winning researcher, teacher and trainer in Journalism and Mass Communication. She is former Director of the School of Journalism & New Media Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University and has launched two academic programmes in media and communication through open and distance learning mode. She has travelled extensively and published papers in prestigious international journals on gender, education and development.
