Director Story

Arunima Dey is working as an Assistant Professor at NSHM Media School, Kolkata. She has earned her Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, specializing in Audio-Visual Production, from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, a prestigious Central University recognized for its national importance. She had the privilege of working with the Peoples Archive of Rural India (PARI), Mumbai International Film Festival (Film Division-Mumbai), International Association for women in Radio and Television (IAWRT-New Delhi) and The Asian Age newspaper.

Transitioning into academia, Arunima has previously held teaching positions at Jain University and the Krupanidhi Group of Institutions. As an additional role, Arunima also works for Scientific Temper Journal as an Associate Editor.
