Arpita Saha is associated as a Lecturer with the School of Communications, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. Also, she is a Research Scholar with the Centre for Journalism & Mass Communication, Visva-Bharati- A Central University of National Importance. Her research interests include journalism, new media, globalization, popular culture, and gender. Apart from regular publications, she has contributed as a co-author to text modules on Gender, Media & Society for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) commissioned by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India.Prior to joining academics, she was working as an Associate Producer at the Editorial division of ABP News (formerly known as Star News), a 24×7 national news channel.
