Deepika Dhiman, a fearless karate champion, defied odds from a young age. Despite limited support, she represented India internationally, drew inspiration from Mary Kom, and aspires to win India’s first Olympic karate medal and making it a household sport.

Directors’ bio:

Payal Khurana is a creative enthusiast who has been deeply involved in storytelling throughout her life. She started with theatre, acting, and photography, and now she has settled into filmmaking. She has even provided mobile filmmaking training to BPMs (Block Program Managers) so that they can capture stories from the ground. Her recent directorial assignments include UNICEF short documentaries focusing on COVID-19, where she traveled to more than 7 states in the span of 7 months to collect 15+ stories from different parts of India.
